this is awesome. some light violin/piano decorations will need to be inserted. the vocal melody is really good. i'll attempt some sort of singalong thing for consideration and keyboard prototypes of piano/violin. for some reason in a lot of your mixes i can never hear the vocals unless i turn it up all the way, even of some stuff fred and i sing on

also this is definitely a song where it's gonna wanna sound as warm and intimate as possible, it sounds kinda glossyish right now but that's probably just a side effect of the fake drums

the music and the lyrics remind me of this a lot

i agree with the necessity of warmth, i think strings or keys or whatever will bring a lot to that, as will more practiced vocal delivery. i really like the stretched drum sound though, kinda adds to the sleepy time-warp feel. that being said, the loop is way too simple.

ill admit vocal level is my weak point, but i thought the vocals were pretty prominent in this one. on marco i have you turned down its because your pre-distorted vocals makes it really weird to mix with clean stuff from me and fred. also freds voice is really loud even when its quiet if you know what i mean, so if i had the vocals louder it may sound good at low volume, but cranked the vocals super take over.

the drums were the only part that kinda threw me off. other than that it's good. we should divide up vocals.

put more real sounding drums in the verses and left the stuttery ones in the break

i've also been subconsciously ripping off Bark Psychosis recently too, i dunno why i didn't think of that when we were talking about music before

the album Codename Dustsucker is my favorite, but Hex is really good too, a little more ambient tho

fred, i think james voice fits this song better than either of ours. and its actually pretty fucking good the way it is now. i think we should maybe just tinker with ideas to make it more whirlwindy w/ other light instrumental complimentary things. maybbbbbbbbeee subtle harmony once or twice but don't want to muddy up stuff

yeah, im not sure this one would really make sense with multiple voices

if you have an idea track it, but i dont think every song needs diverse vocals
