i listened to metropolis
of course you know i'm going to point out that she didn't write anything on that album
that being said, outkast is very good at what they do and i have a lot of respect for them
i've never really been a fan of the soul/gospel convention of "hey look how many notes i can sing over one word!". i never been big on any real virtuoso-y kinda stuff really. i feel like it takes attention away from what's being said and gives it to vanity and ego.
also, that intro was way too long and retarded

when the intro is some ridiculous spoken word sci-fi future thing, tit can never be long enough.
